- Should contemporary pieces be on pointe?
Contemporaries do not have to be on pointe. It is recommended to be in a Neoclassical, Modern, Lyrical and/or Jazz style to demonstrate the dancer's abilities outside of the classical ballet dance style.
- Are the variations included in the Pas de Deux?
No, the pas de deux only includes the adagio and coda. Solos (Variations) may be included only if entered in the Individual Category and paid for separately from the group. Failure to do so will result in penalty or disqualification from competition.
- Can a non-competing dancer be a partner for a Pas de Deux?
No. Both individuals in the pas de deux must compete. The age difference of each partner must not exceed three years of the partner.
- Is there a performing time limit on stage?
