The World Ballet Competition was created with the goal of becoming the fairest and premier worldwide ballet competition. To this effect, the competition has created the rules and regulations to the interest of fairness and the scoring system to support it.
How the Judge's Score: Each judge will score the competitors electronically using the World Ballet Competition's computerized Olympic-style scoring system. Judges will be entering their scores via android tablet screen.
Each piece (competitor) will receive two scores: one for Dexterity (technique), the second for artistry. Of all scores, the highest score and the lowest score will drop, and an average score will be tallied. The scores will be posted on a large screen for the audience after each competitor completes their routine and posted on the website at the end of each day. The WBC scoring method allows for transparency and fariness in the scores of all competitors.
