Gala Artists Announced


The World Ballet Competition has announced the star-studded line up for the 10th Anniversary Gala held on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30pm. This one-night-only performance will feature:

  • Hometown stars: Israel Rodriguez and Katia Garza will perform the love pas de deux from “Spartacus.” It will be the first time the husband and wife have performed the famed dance together.
  • Mayara Pineiero and Etienne Diaz of Pennsylvania Ballet, who will dance the pas de deux from “Don Quixote”
  • Daniel Ulbricht of New York City Ballet, dancing “Stars and Stripes”
  • Joseph Gatti, another hometown favorite, dancing Pas d’Esclave from "Le Corsaire"
  • Taras Domitro of San Francisco Ballet and Adiarys Almeida, dancing the Black Swan pas de deux from "Swan Lake"
  • Clifford Williams, from Complexions NYC, dancing to a contemporary work
  • Rolando Sarabia and Venus Villa of Washington Ballet, dancing “La Sylphide”
  • Jessica Assef of Metropolis Productions, “Tissue”
  • Christye Alan, plus a host of aerialists from Metropolis Productions, will dance in the air

The performance will be held at the Linda Chapin Theater of the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. Parking can be found in the "West Concourse".
