Dancers are also drawn to compete based on the success of past WBC winners who are now enjoying professional careers at the top of their field including: Jeffrey Cirio (USA) becoming principal dancer of American Ballet Theatre; Whitney Jensen (USA) principal dancer of Norwegian National Ballet; Sasha de Sola (USA) principal dancer of San Francisco Ballet; Andrei Pisarev (Ukraine) principal dancer of Kiev Ballet; and Isaac Hernandez (Mexico) principal dancer of English National Ballet. World Ballet Competition artists have been featured on hit television shows NBC's World of Dance, NBC's America's Got Talent, and FOX's So You Think You Can Dance.
The WBC’s popularity has translated to generating 20+ million video views through the internet as well as numerous features in magazines, television and radio shows internationally.
